We are finally moved into the new house and living out of many, many boxes. But I had to take a quick break and show off this sweet senior session.

Annslee’s session took place the weekend COVID-19 began to impact Georgia. Social distancing was on the horizon and her mom and I talked several times about the possibility of rescheduling. But we chose to go ahead with this session and I am so glad we did. Within hours of Annslee’s session ending many towns in Georgia implemented a “Shelter In Place” along with the grim reality that senior year was unexpectedly over.

A senior portrait session does not replace Prom or Senior Night or Graduation. But it does give us a moment to celebrate and honor this accomplishment for our seniors. And if there has ever been a class to deserve this moment it is the Class of 2020! I am so thrilled I was trusted with memorializing Annslee’s senior year.

Despite the unknowns facing Annslee’s final year she had a contagious personality and picture-perfect smile for the entire night. It was an absolute dream of a session from her sweet pup, Aspen, grinning at the camera to the sunset over the lake at The Peach Barn. Get ready because it was absolutely impossible to narrow down a few favorites for the blog post.

And to Annslee (and all my 2020 seniors) in one month or two. Whenever restrictions are lifted and we can give hugs and high fives again, pull out that prom dress and grab your cap and gown and a few friends! My camera and I will be waiting to celebrate you!!!

This night was one for the books! I can’t wait for the next one!
