What I want to say is, “One of my favorite things to photograph is…” but I also think that is how I start each blog post because the truth is, anything involving my camera and humans is pretty much my favorite.

So instead I will tell you that my friend Lindsey and I run through this road to nowhere every now and then that dead ends around a pond. Every single time I think it would make the best location for a portrait session. So when the Hoyt’s called and asked about a session at Cheney Ridge I was so excited.

And it did not disappoint.

In true form I could have easily spent another hour photographing this gorgeous family in that amazing light but I reigned myself in while the dads and boys still had smiles on their faces! Always a win!

It was a perfect spring evening and I enjoyed every minute with this fun family.
