“I want to show off my tan! I worked all summer on it!” I knew when Sarah Beth told me this we were going to have a bright and fun senior session.
This girl is all about the coast. Taking her session to the beach didn’t work with our timeline but we did our best to bring a little beachy vibe to her senior pictures.
Fun outfits for your senior pictures.
Sarah Beth found this fun outfit over the summer and she knew it had to be used for her custom session. My favorite part of the entire outfit is that it came out of her closet and she will wear it again. And again. And again.
I tell seniors all the time to “shop your closet first!” Find the pieces that make you feel your best and then amp them up with killer accessories, shoes and props. I mean, can you beat a baby blue Ukelele as a prop! Her fun and bright personality shines in every picture.
Sarah Beth had few specific requests about location. She was looking for a bright and fun and beachy vibe that wasn’t country. I love the challenge of finding the perfect, unexpected location for each outfit. We ended up choosing a random bright yellow building I pass every day and City Creamery. Nothing is more beachy than an ice cream shop and a boardwalk, right?
Oh yeah- and we can’t forget this great mural by Rome Mural CoLab!
Understated props for your senior session.
Sarah Beth is a longtime ballerina with Rome Civic Ballet and wanted to incorporate this into her session. Her standout tutu and pointe shoes are both understated props. A lot of seniors shy away from including props in their session but these seam effortlessly into her session.
