This will probably come as no surprise. The Cap and Gown Mini Session Celebration every May is my favorite senior styled shoot.
After a year getting to know my senior model team I love the chance to celebrate them. Because nothing says senior year like a cap and gown mini session we have to have one!
I know, I know. Cap and gowns are so fun. But wearing them? Not the most flattering. (One of my seniors compared her gold cap to a giant cheez-it. The accuracy was astounding.) So we like to spice it up a little and add confetti, pom-poms, and a twirl or two while we say farewell to high school.
It’s more than a cap toss
Whether you are headed to college, taking a gap year or jumping into the workforce the future that is coming fast. Yours is worth celebrating! This session doesn’t end with cap toss. Instead we pull out props that celebrate your next step. This finale shot is always my favorite picture from the cap and gown mini session.
Senior Company members participate in this styled shoot as the culminating shoot for the year. It is bittersweet to celebrate my favorite seniors while saying goodbye to them.
Join the cap and gown mini session celebration
This celebration session is not just for Senior Company members. All Studio Kate Seniors have the opportunity to join the fun. Many times seniors want to wait until their cap and gown arrives to have their senior session. But most of the time these items only arrives a few weeks before graduation. Adding the Cap and Gown Mini Session to your Studio Kate experience allows you to have senior portraits early in the year and also have those coveted celebration images.
