I get asked a lot if I photograph senior guys. The short answer? OF COURSE!

Yeah, this one right here goes out to all the boy mamas! (mamas, mamas, boy mamas)

Let’s hear it for the (senior) boys!

It was hard to imagine when you sent them off to Kindergarten that there would be a day you would be looking up at him and he would be resting HIS chin on your head.

But that day is here. Now you call HIM to grab something off the tall shelf or open a jar for you. He’s not knee deep in legos anymore or coming to you with skinned knees and a bucket of worms.

Instead he’s spent the last few years wearing his school colors and representing them in sports or band. He spends his weekends fishing and taking girls on dates (and you are probably filled with pride when you see him open her door or hold a purse for her. Well done, mama!).

While he’s looked a little like a man for a while this is when he really steps out into adulthood and we want to recognize the man your baby boy is becoming.

I KNOW boys.

I have a little boy of my own, 2 brothers and a small army of nephews so I KNOW boys.

He still cares about his looks and he’s proud of those whiskers showing up on his face and the t-shirts that are getting too tight. (But it’s okay because it’s only tight in the “right” places.)

I love senior guy sessions! We will work together to create a session that is masculine and fun and filled with his personality. It may take a few minutes but he will loosen up and even start to enjoy himself. This is the moment I love- when your favorite boy really shines.

Details on Sessions with Senior Guys

Sessions with senior guys typically last between 60-90 minutes.  I suggest 3-4 outfits (Mom- one of those is all your choice)! We will discuss all the details while planning your session but if that sounds like a headache let me show you how easy it can be:

1- a shirt/pullover that represents his high school

2- something to showcase college choice

3- an outfit mom loves and something to layer it with. Done!
