It’s more than just a senior session here. It’s an experience! Senior pictures are about a lot more than showing up with a change of clothes and a smile these days. It’s about telling a story. Your story. But I get it- if you are new to the senior thing you don’t know what to expect at your senior session.

The good news it- you don’t have to! I’m here to help you through it.

It starts with the FIRST STEP call. I will hop on a call with mom and senior to hear your vision for your session and share a little about the process. It’s fun- we will laugh a lot and talk a little business. If we sound like a perfect fit it’s time to secure the date for your session with a retainer.

The planning is SO MUCH FUN! It starts with the FIRST STEP call but it definitely doesn’t end there. A session design questionnaire will hit your inbox 4-6 weeks before your session. You will also get a Senior Session Prep Magazine that is filled with all the details. Once I receive your SDQ we will schedule your style consult to finalize outfits, talk props, decide on locations and more.

Your session day is ALL ABOUT YOU!!!! Most sessions start with hair and makeup at the studio. I bring plenty of snacks and we chat, listen to music (and maybe make a TikTok) and break the ice. By the time I pull my camera out we are best friends!

Seniors are busier than most adults. Between school, sports practices and competitions, jobs and internships finding a day for a senior session can feel complicated. Most of my senior sessions take place early in the morning because it is easier to miss first period than an entire afternoon of responsibilities. For those that prefer an evening session I have Thursdays reserved for those. They book quickly so the sooner you can get your date on the calendar the better!

Two weeks after your session we will meet back at the studio for your Session Premiere! It’s another fun chance for us to connect and I love seeing your reactions when you see your pictures! This is the day we choose the digital images for your collection and design and place your order for print products.

All digital images are retouched to PERFECTION before being placed in your gallery! This is when blemishes and flyaways are removed but I promise you will never be over-edited! We want you to look like you (on your very best day). Your print products will be ready for pickup at the studio within 4 weeks of your session premiere.

The good news is- you don’t have to remember all this. After booking your session you will receive emails to guide you through each step so it never feels overwhelming! You also get my session prep guide so you know what to expect at your senior session.
