The Details

The jewelry, the shoes, the flowers and fancy bow tie…. Grab a shot of every one. You spent a lot of time planning tonight and we want to remember it! Even the guys are getting in on the fun details and accessories. Be sure to snap those!!!!

The Laughter

Moms don’t stop snapping when they turn away from the camera! Those will be your favorite shots of the night. Whether they are laughing towards you or with one another- you will love those in between moments so much.

To encourage a little laughter you can always have your people bump hips while they walk, turn to one another and make a funny face, or look at the camera WITHOUT laughing 😉 Works every time!

The Twirl

It’s a classic and a must have! I love the way those dresses move.

The Friends

There is plenty of time for pictures with your date but be sure to grab your friends and snuggle up to show off the flowers, turn around and look over your shoulder to show off the backs of the dresses and the hairstyles. Get a crazy shoe picture for the guys and you MUST get at least one GQ image with that jacket slung over their shoulders.

The Chemistry

Even if you and your date are *just friends* there is a reason you are spending prom together! You have your very own kind of chemistry. Show it off in your photos, whether you’re snuggling in tight or being silly.

For the couple– Girls throw your flowers around his shoulder and snuggle in with those cheeks smushed together. It shows off the flowers and how much you love to spend time together.

For the friends– Be willing to have fun! Throw on some silly sunglasses, let him lean on your shoulder while you look completely uninterested. Just have fun!
