Burk Farm is another senior session location in Rome, Ga that has done a fantastic job of creating a variety of backgrounds in close quarters. It has an overall rustic feel but you can also create an unexpected urban vibe.
Nora knew immediately that Burk Farm would be the main location for her senior session but she also wanted something with a bit more of a manicured feel. She loved the idea of using an ivy wall in town. We met pretty early to get this set in and I’m glad we did. 15 minutes in I heard a little sizzle and chug seconds before I realized the sprinklers were on (and I was straddling one of them). Nora’s dad joined us for her session and he got a pretty big kick out of this little ordeal. But man it was worth it!
Wardrobe Tips for Senior Sessions
Don’t worry (too much) about the season!
If there is an outfit you really want to incorporate in your session we will make it work. I love that Nora threw on a pair of jeans and boots even though it was summer. This added an early fall aesthetic to her session while the rest of her outfits were summery. This was her second outfit while morning temps were still cool.
Choose outfits that allow you to move!
We will be twirling, sitting, climbing and dancing during your session. I promise you will have SO MUCH MORE FUN if you are not worried about what your outfit is doing. But don’t worry- each of my senior sessions includes a style consult to discuss wardrobe, finalize locations, and any tips or changes to get the most out of your session. Nora did a fantastic job of choosing classic outfits that flattered her body no matter how we moved!
One outfit that is 100% YOU!
In case you couldn’t tell from those long legs Nora is a talented dancer. Ballerinas amaze me! There is so much body control and strength and it makes for absolutely beautiful shots.
They really don’t come any sweeter than Nora and I am so thrilled to spend the entire year celebrating her!!!
