The senior drape pictures your school requires and the boring backdrop shots that all look the same are a thing of the past. Fresh, fun senior pictures are IN and Ava’s session was definitely both!

Some schools will require you work with a specific photography company for your senior yearbook portrait. I get it. The drape and tux shots are traditional and give us some really great hairstyles to look back on in 20 years. And consistency for the yearbook is important.

You know what a senior yearbook photo doesn’t tell you?

ANYTHING about you (except your hair style!)

You can have senior pictures that tell your story- your unique style and personality! It’s okay to have both! (In fact, I recommend it.)

Studio Kate Senior Experience

Ava’s number one request was to lean into more candid and editorial pictures and less of the boring, stuffy and posed.

So that’s what we did!

From classic school spirit to casual urban and back to the studio, Ava’s session was filled with a variety of styles and locations that were anything but boring.

Studio Senior Session

Studio Kate is proud to offer senior session options to fit every budget! While we LOVE for you to take advantage of the FULL Studio Kate Seniors Experience and spend the day with us being pampered, I know sometimes less may fit you best which is why we now offer Studio sessions!

Studio Sessions take place at THE Studio Kate and right outside our door! I like visuals so here is a snippet of what Ava’s session would have looked like if she chose the studio session option!

Senior Small Session

And finally- we have small sessions! Small sessions are offered seasonally at a pre-determined date and location. I love a small session if:

• You want a taste of a season different from your custom session.
• You would like to include your siblings or family in a session during your senior year.
• You really don’t love photos but your mom wants some great senior shots.
